Physical / Occupational / Speech Rehabilitation Programs

St. Luke's has a full-time on-site therapy program.  In accordance with physician's orders, qualified physical, occupational and speech therapists work to enable residents to attain their highest level of functioning.  The goal for our short term residents is to enable them to return to their own homes as soon as possible.

Upon completion of therapy, specially trained nursing assistants are available to work with long-term residents to maintain their optimal strength and mobility in our Maintenace Mobility Program.

Chaplain

Our part-time chaplain provides spiritual care to all residents of the St. Luke's Lutheran Care Center complex. Worship services are held each Sunday morning.  Bible Study groups and devotions meet weekly..  Noon devotions are offered daily.  Our chaplain makes regular visits to our residents to provide individual spiritual counseling and end of life planning.

The chaplain works closely with our nursing staff to provide end of life care for our residents and their families as they go through the dying process.  The chaplain also works closely with our resident's own clergy to assure that each resident's unique spiritual needs are met.  Local pastors lead monthly worship services and provide communion for their members.  Clergy of all faiths are also welcome.
